The North Carolina Behavioral Health Equity Initiative is proud to work with a range of behavioral health, prevention, and community professionals to support policy and practice changes to address factors that impact behavioral health equity in historically marginalized North Carolina communities.

We have had the opportunity to directly engage with professionals who are making a difference by hosting in-person and virtual workshops aimed at improving their organizational capability and capacity to advance positive behavioral health outcomes across the state. We’d like to congratulate our grantees for another successful year with the North Carolina Behavioral Health Equity Initiative!

We hosted the NCBHEI Year 2 Spring Workshop in Winston-Salem, NC, on May 9 & 10, 2024. NCBHEI Grantees shared their Year-2 project plans, recent wins, and future goals with peers and partners. We also worked on crafting logic models, reviewed the root cause analysis from the prior workshop, and explored systems mapping involved in evaluation.
